Our story
A family project born from weekend wanderings
We started WoWa Land to keep track of the swims, trails, and fika spots we love between Blekinge’s forest ridges and the Baltic. What began as notes for friends turned into a growing field guide — and eventually, a stuga we now share.

Slow mornings at Röksvampstigen
Sip coffee on the covered deck, wander five minutes to the motor-free lake for a swim, and finish the day with a grill under a canopy of pines. The stuga sleeps four comfortably with space for creative work or board games when the rain rolls in.

How to use WoWa Land
WoWa Land is our field guide to a small pocket of southern Sweden around Holmsjö, between Karlskrona and Växjö. Use it to plan a long weekend or a slow week based at the stuga, mixing swims, trails, and fika stops that are all within easy reach.
Where and how to get here
Holmsjö sits 35 minutes north of Karlskrona. Arrive by car or take the Krösatågen train to Holmsjö station — we can meet you at the platform or point you to local taxi options.
When to visit and how long
Spring and autumn are for quiet forest walks and misty lake dips; summer brings long swim days and late light on the deck. Most guests stay 3–5 nights, with time for both roaming and doing nothing.
